What’s the best way to win a girl over?
For most guys who don’t know any better, the entire plan of attack revolves around one (or both) of the following tactics:
1. I’ll impress her by showing her what a good guy I am
2. I’ll be a really good friend to her
They hope that eventually the girl will ‘see the light’ and fall for them.
When I was first learning how to mack on girls, I quickly discovered just how powerful it was to ‘turn the tables’ on women, and use their own game against them.
You see, women with high self-esteem will often try to subconsciously impose a background ‘frame’ on their dating interactions, which sets the context and the tone for those interactions.
A very common frame used by attractive girls goes something like this:
Ok, so there’s this girl you really, really like – and you need to be with her more than anything else in the world.
You need to show her you love her, so that she will realize that you two are supposed to be together.
Well, I have a confession to make… The title of this post is actually misleading – because I’m NOT going to tell you how to show a girl you love her.
Why? Because trying to ‘show a girl you love her’ will NOT make her want to be with you. In fact, it will do the exact opposite – it will make her want to run away.
Want to know how to behave on a first date? The shocking truth is that it’s the exact opposite of what most guys do.
You see, most men have a presumption drilled into them from birth that women are the ones who do the choosing. The traditional model of courtship in Western societies is one where a succession of men perform ‘courtship displays’ (i.e. dates) in front of the woman, and then she chooses the one she wants.
I get a lot of emails from guys wanting to know the best ways to ask a girl out. Despite what most guys think, it isn’t compulsory to follow the “traditional rules” when it comes to meeting and attracting women.
You don’t have to get a girl’s phone number with an overt, explicit view of setting up a date. You don’t have to organize an “official first date” and then an “official second date”.
